Rebecca is a registered psychologist completing a Doctor of Psychology, with a strong interest in and published research on perinatal anxiety and mental health. She holds First Class Honours in psychology and is committed to delivering evidence-based care.
Rebecca has experience working across private practice, community, and school settings, supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, stress and burnout, trauma-related difficulties, mood disorders, and high-performance and adjustment challenges. Her approach is collaborative, warm and formulation-driven, integrating evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness and self-compassion-informed strategies.
In addition to her psychology training, Rebecca holds a Master of International Trade & Commerce Law and a Bachelor of Commerce. This multidisciplinary background supports a nuanced understanding of complex systems, ethical decision-making, and the organisational and performance environments that can influence mental health and wellbeing.
Before formally pursuing her long-standing interest and passion for psychology, Rebecca founded and led a technology startup and worked in senior corporate leadership roles. These experiences shaped her understanding of high-pressure environments, competing demands, and the challenges of managing multiple life domains. She also brings lived experience as a former high-performance athlete, offering an informed understanding of high-performance cultures, identity development, life transitions, and the psychological demands of balancing sport, career, personal, and family life.
